It occurred to me that I haven't been shopping in a very long time. The last thing I bought myself was a chicken bake from Gregg's and that was merely a pick me up because I knew I couldn't buy that adorable peter pan collared top from Zara. I'l just assume that I've developed a sadistic need to look at all the pretty things I can't afford... and to then further torture myself by copying and pasting them into photoshop. I'm still paying off my store cards and trying to inch my way out of my four digit overdraft.. So far I've emptied and cancelled two of my cards and hope to get that final one all cleared out before I finish university. A tall order, BUT, I have budgeted it out for the next 4 months so that I can do it and still afford to eat meat.
I have been lusting after that skirt since I saw the shop assistant twirling around in it last may. Everyone has one and it's about time I invested in one as well. And with the jacket in the sale, the combined pair would get my free delivery.. It sounds perfect doesn't it? BUT WHO CAN AFFORD THEM?! Seriously, there is a reason why I always read the washing instructions on my American Apparel items, they're so bloody expensive I would be distraught if they were to shrink in our temperamental student washing machine. And I love those shoes, they're low in stock on the Asos website though, so I highly doubt I'll save up enough for them before everyone else gets to parade around in them...
I love leopard. I actually deeply considered paying the £87 quid for the Bertie boots a couple of months ago but was being pragmatic by waiting for the sales. Of course the sale comes and goes before I even bothered to check up on them and they were gone. I died a bit inside.
I don't think I like that bag anymore actually. And I've replaced the top with a gorgeous pair of leopard heeled flats. So this picture has essentially become obsolete in my wishlist extravaganza.

all from ebay - just search 'antler'
These, however, are seriously next on my to buy list. The only issue I have is that they suit the style of my university room... which I'm moving out of in a few months. My old bedroom, with matching four poster princess bed and butterfly fairy lights, doesn't really allow for protruding white antlers for me to hang my jewellery off of... Alas, twas not meant to be. I will definitely get that stag head though. And I shall name him Monsieur Dubois - after the lovely French chef from the 2001 documentary about Edwardian houses that I've become obsessed with on you tube...
Outfit post next?

DeleteAhh great minds, I've bought a pair of real antlers off of Etsy for my wall to hang my necklaces etc off of. They are all really well priced there, although they do seem to just go out to fields in america and pick these antlers off the ground and sell them, i googled it to make sure it wasn't some dodgy buisness and google said it wasn't so i am as always, trusting google as they never get it wrong, right? ha! Oh and high five on your last post i am so with you on the fashion week buisness, there is only so many times i can look at 45 different angles of the same collection...!
